Rt. 60 Causeway Beach
« on: April 24, 2010, 10:20:07 PM »
There's cool little beach that you can drive your car onto and park it on the beach just east of Clearwater on Rt. 60.  To turn into it you have to be traveling east on Rt. 60 towards the bay.  The beach is located just east of the intersection with the Bayside Bridge.  Continue east on Rt. 60 towards the Causeway and as soon as you can see the bay water the entrance to the beach is on the right.  It's not marked with any kind of name for the beach that I could see.

Sometimes during the warm months, they'll charge $10 per car, but we went after 4pm and they stopped charging earlier.

As you can see from the photos, it's a beach where you can bring your kids, your jetski and your dog too.  The water is usually pretty calm most of the time because it's the western edge of Tampa Bay, and the wind usually comes from the west. is my business! We take your digital images and print them onto color slide film inexpensively.  We can also scan your existing film (any size) into digital images and then put them onto a DVD to play as a show on your TV.  We can also convert your existing digital images into the Zapplication format needed by many art shows and craft shows.  Our main clientel are artists and people who need PowerPoint slides.  Learn more at:
